(You start at the edge of a lake) 

EXAMINE LAKE (There's a giant on the island), EXAMINE GIANT (having his lunch), EXAMINE LUNCH
(roasted pig), TALK TO GIANT (He's too busy eating), SHOUT GIANT (Still can't hear you),
SWIM (Not a good idea)

NORTH (On a forest path),  EXAMINE TREES (apples), GET APPLE, EXAMINE APPLE (Probably enchanted!),
SEARCH TREES (Spot a dormouse), GET DORMOUSE, EXAMINE PATH (Well trodden)

NORTH (Outside a cave), NORTH (The troll is guarding the cave!), EXAMINE TROLL (No way past), GIVE
DORMOUSE (The troll eats it but still won't let you in).

[You could try giving the apple to the troll here, but unlike in 'The Magic Cave' he
won't eat it. He'll just chuck it away]

SOUTH, SOUTH (back to the lake), THROW APPLE (the giant catches it... maybe something bigger is
needed?), THROW ROCK (Hits the giant on the head... he throws the pig leg at you!), GET LEG

NORTH, NORTH (back to the cave), GIVE LEG (the troll eats it and goes to sleep), EXAMINE TROLL (Yep,
he's asleep)

NORTH (Inside the cave), EXAMINE CAVE (You just see lichen... the spider gives you a clue, though),
WIPE LICHEN (You reveal some lettering), EXAMINE LETTERING (A magic spell), READ SPELL.

The treasure is revealed and you've finished the game.
